Journeys of the Heart:
Book Launch and Fund Raising Event
Thanks to the generosity of our donors and guests, the Friends of the Library Silent Auction netted $2,479.39; while net proceeds from our book sales provided $800.00, for a total donation of $3,279.39 to the Pamlico County Friends of the Library Building Fund.
The existing Pamlico County Public Library is housed within the county high school. It is scheduled to be razed and replaced with a new high school building, which will not include space for a public library.
While we are already well on our way, we are still short of our goal. Please consider a donation.
